For me, the oldest component I consistently reach for in my designs is the 𝗟𝗠𝟯𝟯𝟵 comparator. While many might be swayed by the allure of newer, shinier alternatives, there’s something incredibly reassuring about working with tried-and-true components.
𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀? Personally, I find it challenging. These stalwarts have withstood the test of time for a reason.
The 𝗟𝗠𝟯𝟯𝟵 isn’t just a piece of hardware; it’s a testament to enduring quality and reliability. Easy to design with and reliable in its function, it’s no wonder I, and many like me, continue to sing its praises.
