My patient is a #PCBlayout, that I’ve been tasked to redesign. The challenge? Replacing an older LQFP #MCU with a newer, more powerful #BGA package MCU. It’s a delicate operation, demanding the utmost precision and patience. Each connection needs to be carefully isolated before being meticulously reconnected in the new setup.
It’s not rocket science, but it’s an process that requires a patience and attention to detail. From double-checking pin-mappings, optimizing signal paths to ensuring power supply requirements are met.
And much like a heart surgeon, I’m reminded that what I’m working on is not just a piece of machinery. It is a precious HW design work I love and I want to do every day ❤️
