I am working on an unprecedented #manufacturing job. For me, of course.
The latest project of mine contains multiple super flexible RGB LED strips. The chosen material is 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝟬.𝟭 𝗺𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿.
I have never reflow-soldered such material. I asked the PCB manufacturer twice for the recommended reflow temperature profile, but I got no response.
I used the normal temperature profile for thin, rigid PCBs. Additionally, I stuck the flexible PCBs with the copper tapes and weighed them with nuts to prevent lifting.
