I was asked some time ago for soldering iron care tips and tricks
I want to be brief:
1️⃣ avoid using lead-free solders – it eats your soldering iron tip like crazy
2️⃣ avoid using wet sponges – it is useless and damages your soldering iron tip
3️⃣ use brass pads
4️⃣ clean and repair the soldering iron tip with Weller Tools Tip Activator
Those four points keep your soldering iron tip safe and prolong its lifetime.

Před nějakou dobou jsem byl požádán o tipy a triky péče o hrot pájky.
Chci být maximálně stručný:
1️⃣ nepájejte bezolovnatou pájkou – protože doslova žere měděný hrot pájky před očima
2️⃣ nepoužívejte vlhké houby – jsou k ničemu a zpracují životnost hrotu
3️⃣ používejte pouze mosazné drátěnky
4️⃣ čistěte a kondiciujte hrot pomocí Weller Tools Tip Activatoru
